Roofing Services for Your Home

We are a licensed general contractor and a GAF Certified Installer, and our work carries a 5-year workmanship warranty. We fix leaks and worn spots with roof repair, put on new roofs with roof replacement, and install metal roofing for owners who want a long-lived option. We also do roof inspections, storm damage repair and gutters, since water off the roof has to go somewhere.

How We Work on Your Roof

A roof job does not end when the dumpster leaves. Here is what you can expect from us, from the first look to the return visit.

We come back to check the work

Once your job is done, we set a time to return and look it over. We check flashing, sealant and gutters once the roof has seen some real weather. If something needs a touch-up, we take care of it.

Care notes you can actually use

We tell you what to watch for and what to leave alone. That means how often to clear gutters, what a loose shingle or lifted panel looks like from the ground, and when to have someone climb up. You get it in plain words, not a brochure.

Photos of what we find

Before we price anything, we show you pictures of your roof. You see the cracked boot, the soft decking or the lifted tab for yourself. Then we talk through what it means.

An honest call on fix or new roof

Many roofs still have good years in them once the weak spot is fixed. When that is true for yours, we tell you. When a patch would only buy a few months, you hear that from us too.

Your yard and driveway looked after

Before old shingles come off, shrubs get covered and the ground under the eaves gets a drop cloth. Each evening the crew gathers scraps and runs a magnet over the lawn and driveway for stray nails.

About Our Roofing Company

We are a roofing company working on homes in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Our work is roofs and gutters. That is all we do, and we keep it that way on purpose.

We started checking back on finished jobs because roofs here take a beating. Salt air works on fasteners and metal edges, and summer storms test every seal. A quick look a while down the road catches the small stuff before it turns into a ceiling stain.

When you reach us, you talk to people who climb roofs. We tell you what we see, what we would do, and what it will take.

How a Roof Job Runs With Us

Most jobs follow the same steps. The last one is the one most roofers skip.

  1. 1

    Look at the roof

We get on the roof, check the attic if we can, and take photos. Then we sit down with you and go over what we found.

  2. 2

Lay out the plan and price

You get a written estimate with each item listed. When a storm caused the damage, we talk with your insurance adjuster ourselves and hand over the same photos and measurements you saw, so the claim starts from one set of facts.

  3. 3

    Do the work

We pull the permit when one is needed, protect your yard, and keep the site picked up each day. Before work starts, we tell you what the day will look like and roughly how long it takes.

  4. 4

Go over the finished roof together

On the final day we show you the finished work, from the ridge down to the gutters, and answer any questions. You also get care notes for your roof and gutters, written in plain words.

  5. 5

    Come back and check

Once your roof has seen some rain and wind, we return to look it over. If a seal needs attention or a gutter has shifted, we fix it then.

What Sets the Cost of Your Roof Work

No two roofs price out the same, so we quote after we have been up on yours. A handful of things account for most of the number. We go through each of them with you on the estimate.

Your estimate is free and comes with no obligation. We break it out line by line, and financing is available if you want to spread out the cost.

Roof area and steepness
Roof area drives how much material we order and how many crew hours the job takes. Steeper pitches need more safety gear and slower footing, so the work runs longer.
Material you choose
Architectural shingles, metal panels and tile all cost different amounts to buy and install. Metal usually costs more up front and lasts longer, so we compare both sides with you.
What is under the old roof
We cannot see the decking until the old roof comes off. If plywood is soft or rotted from a slow leak, it has to be replaced. We show you photos and the count before we swap any.
Flashing, vents and details
Chimneys, skylights, valleys and wall joints all need flashing done right. More of them means more careful hand work.
Permits and code items
New roofs need a permit and inspection, and Florida's building code sets rules for things like nailing patterns and underlayment in high-wind areas. Those steps are part of the job, and we include them.
Gutters and extras
Adding or replacing gutters, downspouts or ventilation changes the total. We list each one on its own line so you can decide.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Is the post-storm inspection really free?
Yes. When a storm passes through, we will come look at your roof at no cost. We check shingles, panels, flashing and gutters and take photos. If nothing is wrong, we tell you that and you owe nothing.
Will you deal with my insurance company?
Yes. On a storm claim, we talk with your insurance adjuster ourselves instead of leaving you in the middle. We pass along our photos and findings and can be up on the roof when the adjuster visits. The adjuster decides what the policy covers, but the damage gets shown clearly.
How do I know if I need a new roof or just a fix?
Two things decide it: how old the roof is and how far the damage has spread. A few lifted shingles or a cracked pipe boot can be fixed. Granules washing off everywhere, soft decking or leaks in several rooms usually point to a new roof. We show you photos and give you our honest read.
Do you offer any guarantee on new roofs?
Yes. We offer a no-leak guarantee on all new roof installations. We also come back to check the work ourselves once the roof has been through some weather.
What happens on the follow-up visit?
A while past the job, once the roof has seen real weather, we return. We look at flashing, sealant, fasteners and gutters, and check for anything that has moved. If something needs adjusting, we handle it.
Can I pay for a roof over time?
Financing is available. We can go over it when we give you your estimate so you can compare options before you decide.
Is metal roofing a good choice near the coast?
It can be. Metal sheds rain fast and holds up well in wind when installed correctly, with the right fasteners and trim for salt air. It costs more up front than shingles. We compare both on your roof so you can weigh it.

Where We Work

We work on homes throughout Ponte Vedra Beach and the surrounding area. That includes houses close to the ocean, where wind and salt are harder on a roof, and homes farther inland that mostly deal with heat and heavy summer rain. The same crew handles the job from the first look to the return visit.
